About Me:
Evidenced by my scholastic and professional choices, I am, in the parlance of our times, a pop culture junkie. The certificates and paystubs are simply the means to an end – that end being a constant, albeit futile, attempt to satiate my pop culture cravings. Even without the excuse that "pop culture's my job," I'd still attempt to pseudo-scientifically determine my top 10 songs of the year. I'd still sneak "Big Lebowski" quotes in whenever I can. I would still worship at the alter of TiVO. I would still be blessed/cursed with a Tourrettes-like compulsion to suggest double-entendre headlines. The truth is, I can't really tell the difference between my personal and professional lives anymore. I find myself working while I'm having fun, and having fun while I'm working. Things could be far worse.
Interests:
people watching, reading, making insanely complicated mix cds, all things pop culture, puddle jumping, pedicures, footrubs, Colts, Reddi Wip, TiVO, Scrabble, spontaneous adventures, WOXY, urabus, Dave & Busters, Atari...and yet Wii, Jersey Shore, piggyback rides, backrubs, travel sized stuff, swag, hardcore road trips, pretending i understand why the pictures i take are good, learning new stuff, spending the whole day in pajamas, Carlsberg, Burmese food, Indian food, nasty nachos, not killing animals, getting better at being me, humanism, existentialism, grammar lessons
